| In youth group this past Wednesday night, the question was posted to me, "who is your hero?". A sweet girl from across the room at the teen center said, "Me", referring to herself. I said, "Yes, it's Becky.", and the class moved on to the next question. The truth is, Becky is one of my heros! Both she and her mother! You see, Becky and her family were in a serious car accident just over two years ago, and both Becky's father and her only brother were killed. They were on vacation and had gotten as far as Missouri. I didn't know Becky and Doris at the time, but we see them often now. I marvel at their determination to live life. I marvel at their strength which I know is God-given! I marvel at their desire to serve God with their lives. I know they struggle and I know they have sadness, but they bravely are moving on. This past summer, Becky spent the summer touring with a singing ministry and Doris flew by herself to China to visit a missionary friend and see what God's future is for her life. Ladies, I know I've never said it to your faces; but, you're both amazing! You're both heroes of the faith in my book!!!
So, to the rest of you... who's your hero?!!

| Hi Everyone!
Thanks to those who posted on my new site! This time, however, this is actually Me!
Thnigs have been tricky at our house lately. We are now overrun with canines! We have 5 smallish sized dogs! Thankfully there's no canine limit in our town (or we could have problems)! Fortunately, our niece and soon-to-be nephew (Brian's performing the service on 9/23) will be taking the chihuahua this weekend. She'll be living with them in Baltimore.
Did I mention that I LOVE animals?!! Esp. dogs. That's why we have an "intown farm"!
LOL! Dylan just came and told me 'that his skin wasn't feeling very comfortable'! LOL!  It's rough being an almost 5yr.old!

| This is my very first post (hold the applause please). Go me! Kaitie made my site look awesome.
And.. uh.. well this is actually kaitie typing, and i feel kinda weird
typing in all capitalization and also talking about myself in
third-person. so i'm gonna let mom know that her site looks all cooled
out now, and then i'll get her to post something of her own. meanwhile,
you should all leave her bazillions of nice comments, because she's a
nice lady. :) see ya guys
